The Training Intern is an enthusiastic individual eager to delve deeper into the Human Resources Talent Management training sector. They will collaborate closely with Team Partners while also contributing individually. Their primary responsibility will be to support Instructional Designers in organizing and archiving both current and upcoming projects in an organized, centralized system. While reporting to the Training Project Management Specialist, they will actively engage with all members of our Functional Training team.


This position provides invaluable experience across multiple domains, including content management, foundational instructional design principles, teamwork, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain an excel spreadsheet of all current and past training materials.
  • Work with the Functional Training team to ensure that all source files are in an organized, central location.
    • Utilize and expand a current file system to put all training related items in a centralized location.
    • Organize each training asset to be easily accessible.
  • Assist with the creation of a catalog of all current training assets.
  • Collaborate with the team on designing and developing additional training materials such as eLearning, Instructor led Training (ILT), VILT, job aids, videos, etc.as needed.
  • Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Facilitate and/or contribute in Microsoft Teams meetings.

Qualifications

  • A strong interest in training with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Driven, hardworking, and has a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar tool experience needed. Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Highly Organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Team player and willing to take a collaborative approach when necessary.
  • Highly organized.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Human Resources, Education, or Training and Development program.
