Indirect Tax Analyst

A Role You Will Love

Indirect Tax Analyst to assist with day-to-day indirect tax work and special projects.

The Value You Deliver

• Assist with preparation of indirect tax workpapers, sales/use tax analysis, property tax payments, abandoned property, and assessment review, as well as other miscellaneous tax items.
• Assist with the data preparation of indirect tax compliance, including Canada GST/HST/PST
• Assist with state and local tax research and analyses.
• Assist with maintaining and enhancing state and local tax processes, including sales/use tax processes.
• Assist with state and local tax audits.
• Assist with maintaining exemption certificates provided by clients and to vendors.
• Support state and local tax department with special projects.
• Assist with maintaining tax calendar and tracking of tax inquiries.
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

• Vertex software experience preferred.
• Strong command of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
