Financial Analyst - Supply Chain Management

The Supply Chain Financial Analyst is part of the supply chain team and works closely with finance team. This role is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting relevant supply chain data. This individual works as part of a group & is tasked with providing timely and value-added analytic support to the supply chain business leaders and functions. Responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and communicating relevant trends, providing sound recommendations to senior management to drive supply chain performance, including the identification of potential risks and opportunities.

  • Analyze monthly performance results and investigate significant or unusual items
  • Identify and communicate issues, opportunities, and risks
  • Work with management team to refine monthly performance management reporting
  • Ownership of creating accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports.
  • Support existing, new and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Learn nuances of supply chain to thoroughly understand operational results
  • Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication
  • Prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Analyze data to identify issues and determine appropriate course of action

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education
  • Working knowledge of a traditional Plan, Make, Manufacture, Distribute supply chain
  • Proven financial modeling and database skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to produce high quality products and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English / Spanish speaking aptitude is a plus
  • PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP experience preferred


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain management a plus
