2405974This is a hybrid role with 50% on-site requirement in Wilmington, MA.
We are looking for a highly organized and collaborative Merchandising Coordinator to assist in all areas of garment product portfolio support, for a large and complex product line. As a key member of the merchandising team, you’ll handle data collection, management, and reporting, support product management processes, and manage various administrative tasks. This role involves collaborating with the garment portfolio merchandising team and partnering with internal teams to support the product portfolio, marketing, and customer needs. This role is optimal for candidates interested in entering a high-growth career in product merchandising.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall merchandising department information and serve as a liaison internally and externally regarding product data.
- Maintain product database updates and adjustments through full life cycle to ensure accuracy and integrity of product data and communicate changes to support cross-functional teams.
- Execute and continuously improve merchandising processes for our catalogs, ensuring efficient operations and enhanced product presentation.
- Manage calendar relative to the development and regular update cadence of go-to-market tools, including sell in materials, packaging and ecommerce support materials.
- Coordinate and ensure the efficient execution of sample procurement process for portfolio development needs and manage sample inventory.
- Support the creation and implementation of materials essential to the product lifecycle, including marketing campaigns, new product launches, merchandising strategies, and distribution initiatives to drive annual business goals.
- Manage incoming requests from field teams for new product additions, confirm all required information is included, distribute to responsible team members, and schedule regular meetings to review requests.
- Support merchandising team to develop product lines that are best suited for the needs of our wearers and our brand.
- Be a key contributor to the management and growth objectives of the business.
- Maintain other appropriate systems according to the needs of the business.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; will consider co-op placement with imminent graduation date
- 1-3 years’ work or internship experience, with strong preference given for garment industry, retail, or consumer goods companies
- Strong communication, prioritization, collaboration, and organization skills required
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Systems savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required; experience with other Microsoft Office products preferred
