UniFirst Corporation’s Talent Development Team is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Consultant to join their team. This position involves supporting both new and ongoing learning initiatives by partnering with the business to understand training needs and providing innovative LMS solutions to meet those needs. This role also offers extensive support to quickly and accurately resolve learning-related issues to ensure Team Partners can efficiently complete their required training for their daily roles. The ideal candidate is experienced with Saba Learning, and demonstrates a passion for technology, customer service, and troubleshooting.

Essential Functions:

· Partner with the business to determine how to leverage the LMS to support new training initiatives

· Become UniFirst’s learning expert understanding training requirements by role

· Provide one-on-one technical support to end-users, leaders, trainers, and system administrators

· Be adept at troubleshooting technical issues and take ownership until the issue is resolved

· Ability to identify and implement system improvements to maximize system functionality

· Conduct overviews to end users, Leaders, and other staff to increase awareness of LMS offerings and how to effectively use the system

· Consult with content owners to create and modify new and existing web-based trainings

· Work closely with our HR Technology team to plan for upcoming initiatives, collaborate and codesign creative new solutions


Qualifications

Position Requirements:

· 1-3 years of experience in Talent Development

· Saba Learning or similar LMS experience

· Knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 or similar content creation tool

· Ability to think creatively and find solutions

· Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Customer service experience

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Ability to make decisions working independently

· Experience in HTML coding preferred
