UniFirst Corporation’s Organizational Lead Management (OCM) team has an opening for a Change Management Specialist. This person will bring operational knowledge and background and focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The Change Management Specialist will work under the guidance of and support the OCM team to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes. These changes will result in more efficient processes, improved customer experience and higher returns on the Company’s investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the OCM strategy and approach
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing the impact of changes across various teams and business functions following the change impact & readiness assessments Identify and anticipate resistance to the change and offer recommendation mitigate any risks
  • Support communication, documentation, and training efforts
  • Assist with creation of training strategy plan based on Change Impact assessment results
  • Support engagement efforts
  • Support and engage senior leaders in partnership with the OCM team
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Partner with the Change Management Lead to assess change readiness and help prepare the organization for successful adoption of change Track and report issues as needed
  • Monitor changes in progress and gather feedback to help identify areas of improvement
  • Partner with the OCM team to gain alignment on all related activities, including communications, training, and documentation

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in the following: Education, Communications, Engagement, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Human Resources, or other related area
  • 3-5 yearsa’ experience in business operations and working with process workflow, preferably at a location.
  • Proven experience in supporting employees through change - process or software.
  • Strong interest in formal change management with a desire to grow within the field.
  • Experience with end user training and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable with learning new tools and technologies.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a willingness to take initiative and learn.
  • Combination of remote work and in-office, with up to 25% travel.
