Data Management Specialist - UniFirst

2501990The Data Management Specialist is responsible for continual maintenance in UniFirst’s item master as well as coordinating non-stock inventory orders on behalf of UniFirst locations.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Materials Management, the Data Processing Specialist role requires considerable time management and organization skills, and the ability to adjust priorities dynamically in a fast-paced environment. This role works effectively with multiple corporate functions and field service locations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing item master additions, deletions, and modifications, including accumulating and storing all required supplementary information
- Maintain accurate records pertaining to all New Product Requests
- Ensure upkeep and accuracy for UniFirst’s vendor files, including price lists
- Provides regular updates to corporate functions and field locations regarding item master updates
- Facilitate Purchase Order placement for fabric and merchandise items upon request
- Audits and processes non-stock inventory requests from field service locations
- Solve any issues regarding the data in the system
- Engage in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience with Data entry and/or Microsoft Excel.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs
- Strong Attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills a must
- Ability to work in team setting in a dynamic environment
