Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse employees and oversees warehouse operations
- Assign warehouse duties to employees daily, weekly, and monthly
- Perform review on warehouse employees
- Supervise shipping/packing, production, and kit building
- Assist employees with various daily tasks - specifically supervise large projects and daily shipments
- Manage employee attendance records
- Maintain weekly schedule for employees and update any changes or errors
- Enforce all company rules and regulations
- Enforce disciplinary actions
- Ensure all employees follow all warehouse safety and sanitary regulations
- Properly open and close warehouse Monday through Friday
- Become member of safety team
- Working Manager
- Investigate shipments/issues
- Hire additional staff when needed & prepare for growth
- Hire temps as needed
- Report temp payroll to agency weekly
- Monitor order progress
- Maintain shipment expectation of 48 hours
- Seek overtime as needed
- Review production standards and make any necessary adjustments
- Assist Inventory department and purchasing department with inventory levels
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Work history that demonstrates experience and reliability; warehouse supervisor work experience is a must
- Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Mas200 preferred
- Cover letter detailing relevant experience and desired wage range if REQUIRED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Warehouse Management 7+ years preferred
