Sales Trainer – UniFirst First Aid + Safety

Our Team is Kind of a Big Deal!

UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sales Trainee to join our family. 

The Sales Trainer at UniFirst, a leading provider of workplace safety solutions, is responsible for delivering high-quality online and in-person training sessions. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational skills, as well as the ability to engage with UniFirst employees at all levels effectively.

In addition to leading training programs, the Sales Trainer will contribute to various projects focused on skill development, employee growth, and performance improvement. This position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and reinforcing constructive feedback. A strong emphasis is placed on providing outstanding training, support and feedback within the First Aid division.

When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5- day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

  • · Conduct and implement various training sessions for employees, including but not limited to New hire Training, Sales Manager Training, Product Training, and Sales Skills Development.

    ·Assess the performance of current locations and all team members identifying successes and challenges. Work with management to resolve.

    ·Travel to locations for in person training and ride along evaluations. Review each location prior to training to review strengths and weaknesses, and address as directed.

    ·Provide detailed evaluations of employees and managers who receive training. A location summary would also be created and implemented post training.

    ·Follow up training (8-10) after initial training to inspect what has transpired since the initial training.

    ·Assess the effectiveness of training by tracking sales performance, customer retention, and compliance knowledge. 

    ·Collaborate with the sales trainer supervisor and corporate trainer on projects within the First Aid division.

    ·Collaborate with sales trainer supervisor for training itineraries, scheduling training classes, and travel schedule.

    ·Analyze and refine sales objectives, strategies, and outcomes to enhance performance.

    ·Utilize an iPad for POS system to optimize process flow and implement current and ongoing corporate objectives.

    ·Leverage internal and external resources to enhance first aid, safety, AED, Fire, CPR/AED training and sales techniques.

    ·Pursue ongoing continuing education to expand sales knowledge and offerings.

    ·Demonstrate expertise in sales techniques and upselling, effectively communicatingthese skills to employees.

    ·Gather feedback from sales representatives and adjust training content to align with industry updates and sales challenges. 

    ·Stay updated on emerging first aid &safety technologies, OSHA/ANSI updates, and competitive product offerings to keep the team ahead of market trends. 


Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

·Three plus years of B2B sales experience is preferred.

·Two plus years in a training or coaching environment is preferred.

·For internal candidates, minimum of two years within the organization is preferred.

·High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

·Up to 50% travel is required for this role

·Strong communication and presentation skills are required.

·Empathy and ability to inspire and motivate.

·Analytical thinking to access sales performances and training effectiveness.

·Ability to teach effectively in an adult learning environment.

·Clean and current Driver’s License.

·Ability to travel within the continental US. 

  • Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards
