Responsibilities
UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Fleet Supervisor to join our community. As a Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities associated with supporting the successful management of First Aid + Safety's vehicles. When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the fleet department, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling and evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of the fleet vehicles for the First Aid division.
- Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations, filing paperwork to support compliance.
- Coordinates and commutes to the DMV for registration, initial tag, title, and tag renewals for vehicles. Maintains personal property tax forms on all vehicles.
- Assists field staff with transfer and retirement of vehicles.
- Facilitate management of company fuel cards.
- Communicates and coordinates with field staff miscellaneous van details and status updates.
- Work with the Department of Revenue on all document processing.
- Maintain detailed accident records and report findings to management and relevant software.
- Notify applicable staff to schedule preventative maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy of the asset register and other management systems.
- Assist locations on vehicle needs through understanding of spare ratios, growths, and replacement plans.
- Directly support, mentor, and interact with Fleet Coordinator(s) to ensure proper maintenance is being performed.
- Assist in development and implementation of safety and maintenance initiatives.
- Responsible for development of, and maintaining, strong working relations with other key departments such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Asset Management, Risk, Purchasing, etc.
- Capability to offer innovative ideas, approaches, and solutions.
- Ability to maintain company confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience and/or training is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, including writing reports and business correspondence professionally.
