Ensure that all stockroom employees work in a safe environment and have the proper direction, knowledge, skills, resources and support to achieve optimum performance. Achieve the
department objectives regarding processing of materials, contributing to overall division growth and profitability. Adheres and enforces all safety policies. Ensures the efficient flow of product through the stockroom process in a timely manner. And conform to all quality requirements. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

Compensation: $48,000 - $55,000/Annually
Training:
Our Team Partners receive ongoing cross-training, exposing them to different areas of production. Cross training enhances their performance and assists them with their career potential and advancement.

Ensure stockroom team is completing tasks successfully according to company standards.
Ensure that the customer/supplier requirements are communicated throughout the Stockroom.
Reporting requirements completed daily, weekly, and monthly.
Maintains optimum utilization of human resources.
Ensure team partners receive and complete all educational requirements for their roles.
Provides cross-training opportunities for team partners in the Stockroom.
Create positive atmosphere by treating employees with dignity, respect and soliciting their feedback.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and procedures to maximize efficiencies and profit.
Minimize labor costs through goal setting, scheduling, work-flow controls and continuous collaboration with team partners.
Control merchandise costs by adherence to proper processing, merchandise purchasing goals, and procedures.
Participate in attainment of location growth goals.
Maintains compliance; federal, state and local.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate background or equivalent experience is preferred
2-4 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and propose solutions.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret organizational production reports.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
