Senior Software Developer – .NET Full Stack

The Senior Software Developer – .NET Full Stack is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of modern, cloud-native enterprise applications using .NET, Azure, and modern front-end technologies. This role provides senior-level technical expertise across C#/.NET, REST APIs, React or Angular, Azure cloud services, microservices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and modern software engineering practices. The role serves as a key technical contributor in solution design, application architecture, hands-on development, code quality, and engineering best practices. The Senior Software Developer also provides technical guidance and mentorship to other developers while ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, maintainability, performance, and user experience. The role leverages AI-assisted development tools and emerging AI technologies to improve engineering productivity, automated testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and application capabilities.

Software Development & Architecture (70%)

•  Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade
• NET applications and cloud-native solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Azure
• Design and develop responsive, scalable user experiences using React, Angular, or comparable modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs and microservices, following enterprise API standards and software engineering best practices
• Apply modern application architecture and design patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, caching, resiliency, and distributed application patterns
• Develop applications using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage, and API Management
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and develop comprehensive unit, integration, API, and automated regression tests to maintain high code quality and coverage
• Develop and maintain technical solution documentation, including application architecture, API specifications, data models, sequence diagrams, and deployment architecture
• Implement secure application development practices using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, role-based access controls, and Azure Key Vault
• Optimize application and API performance using appropriate caching, asynchronous processing, database optimization, application profiling, and scalability techniques
• Implement application logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and enterprise observability platforms
• Conduct code reviews and promote consistent use of coding standards, reusable components, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean-code practices
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, MCP-enabled tools, and related technologies, to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Mentor other developers and provide technical guidance on application architecture, cloud-native development, TDD, secure coding, and software engineering best practices

DevOps, CI/CD & Data (30%)

• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, deployment, and release management
• Implement automated quality gates using tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, unit testing frameworks, and code coverage tools
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code and automated deployment practices to ensure consistent, repeatable, and secure cloud environments
• Develop solutions using relational and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and other enterprise data platforms
• Apply database best practices related to data modeling, SQL development, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Integrate enterprise applications using REST APIs, messaging, event-driven patterns, and secure data exchange mechanisms
• Conduct production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and implementation of permanent corrective actions
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, architecture, audit, data protection, and governance standards
• Support production readiness, deployment validation, monitoring, and ongoing operational support for enterprise applications.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $109,000 - $150,000 yearly. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Geographic differentials may also apply depending on the position’s location. There is no application deadline for this role; recruitment will remain open until the position is filled. 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (required)
• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)

Experience

• 10+ years of software development experience, with significant hands-on experience building enterprise applications using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework, and modern application development practices
• Strong front-end development experience using React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks, along with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven experience designing and developing cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems on Azure
• Strong practical knowledge of Test-Driven Development, unit testing, integration testing, mocking, automated regression testing, and code coverage practices
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and Application Insights
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD automation, code quality tools, and DevSecOps practices
• Strong database development skills, including SQL, data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance diagnostics
• Experience implementing application security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, and role-based access control
• Experience with containerization and cloud-native technologies, including Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes/AKS
• Experience with application observability and production troubleshooting using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, centralized logging, and distributed tracing
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, MCP, AI agents, and generative AI application patterns
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers
