This is a hybrid role with 50% on-site requirement in Wilmington, MA.

We are seeking a hands-onAzure Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

You will play a key role in shaping our cloud strategy, driving automation, and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient cloud operations across our Azure environments.

Responsibilities: 

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, YAML, and ARM/Bicep templates.
• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure best practices in cloud governance and automation.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration.
• Integrate and manage configuration management tools like Chef.
• Write automation scripts and tools using Python and other scripting languages.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
• Stay current with Azure services and industry trends to continuously improve our cloud architecture.


Qualifications

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

• Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Experience with Docker, containers, and container orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with Chef, Ansible, or other configuration management tools.
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
