Job Summary:
The Account Executive is responsible for managing a book of medium-to-large volume Corporate Apparel Direct (CAD) accounts. Acting as the primary point of contact, the Account Executive oversees day-to-day account needs, facilitates smooth operations, and supports account retention and growth through ongoing relationship management, program support, and operational execution. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
The Account Executive will also support customer contract renewals, website launch calls, assist the sales team, and ensure ongoing account service. This position reports directly to the Corporate Apparel Direct Account Executive Supervisor.
Job Detail:
• Managing an assigned book of business, monitoring account performance, identifying service opportunities, and coordinating with internal departments to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.
• Handle all day-to-day account management tasks for assigned accounts including but not limited to:
o Managing the email inbox
o Daily phone communication
o Proactive communication to the account base
o Use reporting tools to help maintain the revenue stream
o Provide customer reporting
o Maintaining up to date customer records in CRM
o Launch calls when needed, to re-launch a site or help the sales team launch a site
o Writing up manual orders as needed while influencing customers to adopt an online order entry solution.
o Facilitating updates to customer e-commerce portals as needed
• Assisting existing clients through identifying opportunities of greater value.
• Work with CAD Account Customer Service Representatives to resolve large site level customer service issues/problems.
• Customer visitation meetings as requested by customer and\or as directed by management.
• Be observant of industry/customer trends pertaining to garment usage, fashion, and customer image attributes to position UniFirst as the on-going single source provider for their work apparel needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Experience
• Uniform industry experience a plus
• National or corporate account experience a plus
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a service environment
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Experience working with MS Dynamics or similar CRM preferred
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree preferred
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, etc.
