UniClean is seeking a reliable and hardworking Service Team Partner to join our UniClean Community. As a Depo Manager, you will implement and maintain a quality system for the location that complies with the requirements of the International Quality Standards (ISO-9000). At UniClean we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, appraise and meet the budget requirements for the location including operating costs and profit margins.
  • Approve expenses at the location up to $2,500 unless approved by General Manager in advance.
  • Hire, supervise, delegate authority and discharge personnel at the location accordingly.
  • Supervise and plan the activities of subordinates. 
  • Comply with DOT, OSHA, and state regulations regarding transportation, operations, and personnel.
  • Maintain moral of all the employees at the facility, while providing recognition, counseling and corrective action as required. 
  • Assist the Sales Department personnel in soliciting new customers.
  • Manage growth, lost accounts, merchandise, A/P and A/R functions, human resources, fixed assets, delivery vehicles, and all other areas related to managing the location. 
  • Keep General Manager informed on status of customers, profitability data, and employee problems.
  • Manage location as a profit center for UniClean while obtaining gain in efficiency each year and minimizing capital requirements.
  • Operate location in line with company policies and procedures. 
  • Report any information either internal or external that may affect or assist any sector of UniClean.
  • Ensure that the quality programs promulgated by the quality system and quality policy are implemented at the location as the ISO Management Representative. 

Qualifications

What we're looking for: 

  • 4-year degree or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, and customers. 
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge in operating computer systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access, and have a basic understanding of computer hardware operations. 
  • Able to write or manipulate computer programs to facilitate data interpretation. 
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
