Warehouse Worker- UniTech

Position Summary

UniTech Service Group is seeking a dependable and motivated warehouse worker to join our Distribution Center team. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify product quantities and condition.
• Unload, sort, and organize inventory in designated storage locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation of materials.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely after receiving appropriate training.
• Label and track products in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Basic communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or retail experience.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification through company training.
  

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  

Work Environment

• Fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Exposure to moving equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse machinery.
• Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable.
