The Marketing Analyst will use analytics across structured and unstructured data to identify patterns and behaviors that will inform business and marketing strategy. As part of the Strategic Marketing team, this role will identify business trends and risks, understanding markets, analyze drivers of customer satisfaction and characterize business opportunities. This role is important to the wider business as reliable consumer and market insights enable smart product strategies, effective marketing, and enterprise growth.

  • Derives rich insights using data analysis to inform new strategies, opportunity exploration, business case development, marketing strategies and marketing program execution.
  • Analyzes comprehensive market research results using large data sets from various sources, including internal data (surveys, enterprise data warehouse) and external data
  • Working with team leadership, navigates the organization to source and understand data sets
  • Uses querying and programming skills to develop production and ad hoc reports
  • Supports strategic product management through analyses of the product portfolio, market and customer needs, market share and other data reporting including digital behavioral data, customer engagement data, and prospect data enrichment.
  • Uses analytic driven insights to support development of customer experience programs across marketing, digital, products, and operations/sales touchpoints.
  • Analyzes marketing program data results to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the customer data model
  • Conveys analysis and recommendations via presentations and reports

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2-3 years of data analytics experience required
  • Experience required with reporting and analytics software such as Tableau/Power BI and Python/R
  • Experience required with market research statistical techniques such as: Cluster Analysis, Regression, Factor Analysis, Correlation Testing

Education 

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Data Analytics certification(s) preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Must have strong SQL, Excel, and PPT skills
  • Must have expertise in developing data visualizations
  • Must be able to work with internal resources and departments to complete projects
  • Must have natural curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Strong sense of mission will be important
  • Experience in Industrial/Consumer Products or Merchandizing/Retail is preferred
