The Enviromental EngineerĀ will work with the Engineering Environmental Team, to Design, Install and troubleshoot Environmental Systems. The Team Partner will use their knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Chemistry for wastewater treatment systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs wastewater treatment systems. That includes Tanks, Mixers, pump, and piping systems.
  • Understanding of Instrumentation for Level, Flow, and pH controls.
  • Install and configure field devices.
  • Understanding of basic electrical control system, including PLC, HMI, and motor control circuits.
  • Reference and update AutoCAD drawings.
  • Train operators and engineers on Environmental wastewater treatment systems.
  • Travel to UniFirst Locations (up to 50%).

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering or equal technical training with job experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Process Control related design, operation, and installation of such systems.
  • Generate and interpret detailed installation diagrams for wastewater piping and electrical installations
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, understanding mechanical and electrical schematics and circuitry.
  • The individual will possess basic maintenance and electrical skills.
  • Understanding of basic electrical wiring, mechanics, and safety.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, which includes the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and vendors.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction.
  • Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Must possess the ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors.
