
Automic Administrator

2301490The Automic Administrator will be part of the IT Operation Command Center team and responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting complex enterprise automation and batch solutions. The focus of this position includes daily support functions, ongoing maintenance, performance monitoring, project work and continuous availability of the Automic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and scheduling Jobs/workflows.
- Promotion of jobs from one environment to another.
- Proactively monitor complex data sets and process statuses to identify actual or potential defects, then perform research for root cause for potential or actual impacts; resolve issues within the scope of authority and/or escalate situation to ad-hoc remedial teams as needed.
- Develop, analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot batch environment workflows across all applications and platforms.
- Create/modify scripts, alerts, events, dashboards, and complex calendars to perform business functions and operational tasks.
- Perform root cause analysis and deliver information for reporting and awareness of critical path batch delays.
- Perform on-call support as part of IT OCC team.
- Work as a team and be held accountable as a team.
- Provide effective solutions to ensure successful delivery of batch and integrated processing.
- Apply application patches and perform upgrade of application as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Automic v12 Workload Automation administration
- Basic knowledge of SSIS packages and reporting services
- Basic and Advanced Scripting in Automic
- Working knowledge of fundamental job scheduling procedures.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical.
- Ability to proactively identify trends
- Strong understanding of change management, ITIL, and continuous improvement processes
