Job Description:

General: Meet and comply with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, work performance, quality, and attendance. Responsible for accurate picking of garments onto picking carts to fill orders per pick ticket requirements. Bundle all garments with GPW, ensuring that the SKU and quantity of garments per pick ticket are correct. Responsible for strapping bundles once processed by Picking and completing quality audit, which includes verifying correct count and SKU. Responsible for retrieving empty totes from Induction Station and redistributing to pick stations as needed. Will be required to work overtime as necessary. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by a supervisor or team leader.

Must be willing and able to actively participate in plant-wide safety activities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently bend and squat. Constantly stand and/or walk, grasp, and reach. Occasionally kneel, step to 14", and climb stairs. Frequently push up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs. Constantly lift up to 15 lbs, frequently lift up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 30 lbs. Possess the ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors. In addition, this position requires cross-training in other areas of the facility.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required


Language Skills: Required to read and write English and follow verbal and/or written instructions.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
